Two of the most important things that we will use throughout the school year, and your school career, will be tools that help you stay organized and on top of your assignments. Both Google Classroom and PowerSchool can help you do just that.
Google Classroom is a place where your teachers will post the majority of your classwork. The benefit to this space is that it is available to you with an internet connection, no matter the time or place. Google Classroom allows you find assignments, complete assignments, and submit assignments from your Chromebook!
PowerSchool is where you can monitor your grades, check your attendance records, and look for missing assignments. PowerSchool may also be used for completing SchoolNet tests. This tool allows for you to self-monitor your progress throughout the year and seek the additional help that you need when you need it. It would be our recommendation at Camp Chromebook that you are regularly checking your grades to take charge of your academic affairs.

Objectives
The purpose of this session is to help students succeed by developing an understanding of the tools to use to track our progress. This module will introduce you to both Google Classroom and PowerSchool.
